-Glitch- got killed & touched the stairs at same time

I was mining and got to a point that i was only at 2hp but, i got greedy and decided to gamble the chance to get one more mineral. Well i got stuck by a bat and i reached the stairs to do down and meant to hit a but i hit b instead so i stayed and got killed as i touched the stairs again. So now the game is stuck between moving to the next floor and respawning me at the 25th floor rest area.
