making plants disappear from custom colony's area?

 I have decided to have my colony set in the Rumbling Overpass area, and I want to know if the licorice root and the goldenseal will quit respawning, and not grow there anymore. It's hard to find any area in-game, that is void of prey and plant life.

There's no way to remove or move it. The plants will keep growing, too.
Looking at some of the fanmade herb maps, it looks like Canyon Plains (top left) and Prairie Border Central (middle right) have no herbs on them. That seems to be it, though.

I can confirm that Canyon plains does not have any herbs there. Or hardly anything. I selected that spot for the Dove challenge, specifically for that reason.

Wow, a whole area filled with dead dove carcasses? That's morbidly disturbing fun right there.


I've been using my doves to raise my alliance with the other colonies.
