Who assists with kitten births?

 Does each colony doctor/healer act as midwives when pregnant cats start giving birth? Even when they're the parents, themselves? (the healer cats as fathers, or being pregnant and giving birth to their own kittens?_

I don't believe any sort of healing happens at birth. It just happens, nothing special.
