I remember around when the game first released Falcon Dev discussed releasing more content for the game at some point, I'm just wondering if this is still something that's being talked about or worked out or if the game is finished being updated.

Hey! Great question, would be happy to clarify.
Cattails has received three major updates post-launch;
v1.1, which introduced the Custom Colonies mechanic;
v1.2, which was a large-scale overhaul of some of the technical aspects of the game; and
v1.3, which introduced Tasks, additional marriage candidates, and more.
At this point, Cattails is more or less feature complete according to the original design and is not in active development. It is possible that it may receive additional updates at some point down the road, but for now it should be considered complete. You can always stay tuned here on the forums or follow our social media @cattailsgame for all the latest news regarding Cattails.

I've downloaded Cattails onto my Switch on Christmas Day, so I hope I have all the current game content.

I've downloaded Cattails onto my Switch on Christmas Day, so I hope I have all the current game content. Hey! Cattails switch has all the same content as the computer version, It's my prefered way of playing (mostly since I'm constantly traveling). The only content you're missing out on would be special skins if you backed the kickstarter but since you just got it you shouldn't have that issue. |
