Moonpaw nodded excitedly and dropped into a crouch. “If those rouges date come near us, I’ll claw their ears off!!” She mewed, jumping on an invisible foe and scratching its ears.

Dashwind kept glaring at Citrusdapple. “Arrowstrike told me that YOU are in love with Featherstorm.” He hissed coldly. His neck fur bristling as he talked.

"Fine," She purred. "Get your beauty sleep Berrykit." She padded out of the nursery and was suddenly hit by the sound of arguing in the warriors den. I just realized how sound-proof the nursery is! Wow, never realized before. She padded over to the warriors den and barged in. "Why are you arguing? Can't the other warriors just get some rest? At least take this outside the camp for StarClan's sake." She said, her voice calm and smooth unlike the other cats in the den.

"I.. h... b-" she stutted before quickly jumping to her own defense. 'I-I am not in love with anyone! Let alone Featherstorm! I.. I-" she yelled. Everyone in the den was probably awake by now, listening to their argument. She was so upset, she didn't even notice Featherstorm pad in.

Dashwind stayed quiet and watched how Citrusdapple would react. He didn’t know how to feel right now, he liked everyone knowing, but something just didn’t feel right. He ignored his conscience and glared at Citrusdapple in a calm, but angry way.

Berrykit decided to follow Featherstorm and hid behing her, listening to the arguing. "Why do you love each other?" She asked Featherstorm. "I thought you were in love with Redfur."

"I am in love with Redfur Berrykit? I honestly don't know what's happening, so I'm trying to figure it out Berrykit. And you shouldn't be snooping." She said turning around and pushing Berrykit out of the den with her snout. She then turned around and faced Dashwind "Really, what is happening?"

"F-Featherstorm! Hey!" She said, trying not to tremble. Everyone knows, they know that you're some freak! her mind whispered. I-I'm not a freak! Citrusdapple whimpered back. She choked back tears as she spoke, "Can you please tell this idiot, I am not in love with anyone!"

She looked at Citrusdapple in the eyes, she looked as if she was going to start bawling any minute. "Dashwind. Are you bullying Citrusdapple based on a rumor someone started? And Citrusdapple, Dashwind is no idiot. Both of you stop, we are taking this out of camp where no one has to listen to you two bicker." She said, her voice still calm.

Arrowstrike

Citrusdapple turned to glare at Arrowstrike. To the other cats, it was just a glare, but for her she could see every emotion the she-cat was trying to conceal. She was scared of her clanmates judgement. She was worried Featherstorm wouldn't want to be friends anymore. Obviously she was angry. But one thing stood out from all her other emotions, the betrayal. Arrowstrike had to look away, she couldn't stand another second of that torture. "She is the someone who started this rumor." Citrusdapple growled.

Dashwind turned around to face Featherstorm. “Then why was it Arrowstrike that told me?” He looked her evenly in the eyes. “Besides,” he spat, “You don’t know what it’s like. Redfur has loved you back this whole time!” He was getting emotional now, this voice growing thick as he forced the words out his throat.

"I'm sure Arrowstrike didn't mean to start the rumor Citrusdapple, you two are so close. She couldn't have meant what she said. And Dashwind, I am m-" She cut herself off and shook her head. "You have no right to bring Redfur into this."
