We've been working hard behind the scenes on two exciting changes to Cattails. The first, a Technical Update (v1.2), is available right now on PC and Mac. While there's not much new in the way of content, we've made a number of important structural changes that will pave the way for the future of Cattails. Here's the v1.2 patch notes: -4 new colors for your cat are available at various shops -Overhauled the entire code base to make changes that will make Cattails run much smoother on older machines -Miscellaneous quality of life and balancing changes -A host of bug fixes, including a major one regarding random enemy cat spawning. Now enemy territory should feel a bit more dangerous! Essentially, the biggest change in the Technical Update is that we've "unlocked" the game speed from the computer's computational cycle. What that means is that if you're running Cattails on an older machine (or if you like to place thousands of items on the floor of your den  ) you should find that the game runs a lot smoother. This was a fairly involved process that required us to basically go back through each and every line of code in Cattails and make a lot of alterations. Phew, glad that's over with! Looking ahead to the future, we have a small new content patch scheduled to come out before the end of the year. We think you'll really enjoy what we have in mind! Details coming soon. If you have the game on a computer, will you be able to upload it onto the switch?

If you have the game on a computer, will you be able to upload it onto the switch? Your savefiles? We honestly aren't sure at the moment. If it is possible, someone will no doubt create a tutorial on how to transfer your files (possibly even us!) |

It's on the eshop! You can preorder it and download it. You can't play it until it's release date of course, but you can at least have it ready to go!

So it says that the game will be released on the 23rd (of November of course), but on the Nintendo e-shop for me it shows up as it will release on the 29th. I don't know if something is wrong with my switch or if you delayed the game release, but if someone could check on their switch to see if they have the same problem I would greatly appreciate that. I double checked that my time zone was right and I've had this problem before with other games coming out after the set release date.

I was mixing the day of the month it was announced up with the day of the month it will come out on. I just read through the original post and I read the press.release date as the airing date, but a month later. |
