When I was a little, little kid, like three or something I used to suck my index finger. My grandmother would give me all sorts of stuff, but I would just throw them or spit them out. Same thing with Pepper. We leave and he completely ignores the toy and chews his leg. It doesn't seem to be doing anything, but when he vomits, most of it is fur and it looks more like cats hairballs than vomit. But the TV idea I can try but it probably won't work (no offense ) because he doesn't watch TV. It drives him crazy. Don't worry about the vomit, he just finds dead mice in our yard if a bird doesn't get them first. It happens very rarely that he'll actually eat one. (I do pick them up if I see them.)

I think the TV idea might be worth a try because at least he could hear voices that way. He might not feel so alone if he can hear talking.

It's the car commercials that drive him crazy but I could give it a try.

I hope you can find something that'll make your pup have an easier time while you're away! I always love having my dog be so happy when I come home ,too. It's so great to feel that kind of happiness that makes me feel like I was missed that much. <3

Another trip to the vet for him.
He's been vomiting for a month now. And it's now bloody. I'm getting very worried!!

Oh no...I hope it's just a fluke and nothing is seriously wrong. Give your pup a pat for me.

It turns out that the blood in the vomit is only because he cut his gums playing frisbee. The vomiting is still a mystery. He's a very happy boy though. I tried the TV thing and it worked! He was sitting on the couch when we came home.

Pepper is very lethargic now after throwing up. He wasn't reacting when I picked him up!!
I am hoping it's only because heaving is tiring. He has come over his anxiety thanks to the vet but I am still leaving a raidio on.

Good boy, Ren! I am happy to hear he is more active! Pepper threw up again, sadly, but is ok now. (Bringing in the poo sample though, is worse than cleaning his barf.)
