So I'm trying to get to floor 100 but I can't get past the first 50. I have max fighting/forage skill, I try to bring support (kits/active skill) and everything but I get ambushed by about a dozen enemies every floor and my rng for finding the stairs is trash. Am I missing something? Is there a way I can get down to that 100th floor that I'm not seeing without spending mole cash every 25 floors (not that I can get past 55)
I've gotten to the bottom of the two other mines but this one is just aggravating me because I can't move a hair without 4 ghosts ganging up on me. Bringing kits is annoying too because they attack everything in the vicinity and need to go back to the den almost immediately. Same with the active skill to summon cats. I'm kinda at a loss. Do I just have to get seriously lucky? xD

It's so hard to get deep into. At least it is for me. I bring a full inventory of food/herbs but I still can't make it far past 50

1) You could switch to V. easy
2) Never fight, just run around
3) Bring full inventory (10 slots) of food
4) Have Sprint level V
P.S. All the stuff above is what I recommend doing for the mine. But the main thing you gotta do is NEVER fight or attack the ghosts or bats. Just run past or around them.

Ye, don't need sprint, but it is still nice to have if there is many in a group, or you need to run right between some things.

Another suggestion (for while using normal mode) bring a fully trained kitten along, have a full row of Marigolds.

Marigolds aren't neccessarily helpful. If you need them when you get to the halfway point you should buy some, but you should bring all food.

Marigolds for healing since the bats and the ghosts can lower your hp. Since they heal more than Goldenseal, less are needed, so more free spac for food and gemstones.

You dont need healing things. That is the point of running from the fights.
