Claimable Cats: Goldenpaw
Warriors: The Open Forest Territory
Claimable Cats: Goldenpaw
Warriors: The Open Forest Territory
a roleplay by Lebby (LeBlueSlime)
Outside a bustling Twoleg town resides a calm forest, where red squirrels play and foxes frolic.
It was the middle of greenleaf when the story of the Open Forest Territory begun, and the forest would change forever.
The four original clans were falling. Wars were breaking out. Floods and fires ravaged the Lake Territory. Many cats were dying, even leaders falling. The four clans could go on no longer. Nowhere to run. They were doomed.
But Starclan was determined to continue the legacy of the Clans. They reached out to three cats; Lake, the clever and swift; Bark, the strong and inquisitive; and Meadow, the sweet and loyal.
"Go." they said to them. "Go to the nearest wood, and build a Clan, a Clan of cats."
Although terrified, the three headed to the same, nearby wood. They all met at the middle of the forest, near a locked-up, stone structure. Before one could say anything, they noticed a ball of blinding light coming from inside the structure. The light called to them.
"Lake, go to the murky waters of the south; Bark, the tall trees to the southeast. Meadow, you shall go to the northern grassfield. There, you shall begin your legacy."
"As leaders of your Clans, your names are Lakestar, Barkstar and Meadowstar. Your Clans shall be named after you."
The three leaders soon arrived at their specified locations. It took a week to build every Clan.
It has been many moons since those events. Now the three clans are thriving..

The Clans
Lakeclan - The free, fast athletes of the three Clans. They spend their free time hunting fish and riverbirds of all sizes. They have an intolerance to any other prey, so they don't fare well in leaf-bare, when most of their prey is scarce. Their territory is in the beaches of a murky, stony stream, and their dens are made of stones and sturdy sticks.
Barkclan - Tough and rarely forgiving, Barkclan hates outsiders with a passion. Although they may seem ruthless, they have a calmer side; they love exploring their territory, which is high up in the trees. They live in tree-holes and mainly eat birds and squirrels. Barkclan's camp is also considered the most adventurous - there is a long and sturdy log leading up to the leader's den, whose hole is the highest in camp. The other holes can be reached from the ground.
Meadowclan - Kind, inviting cats that are the closest to Starclan. They are typically the weakest Clan, but they have a diverse selection of herbs, making it the best Clan for medicine cats. The territory is a wide, lush meadow with sparse trees. Their dens are holes in the ground, with a bush of mud and grass serving as an entrance. They feed on rabbits and mice.

Locations
Echoing Stone - A locked-up stone structure. Medicine cats and leaders can communicate with Starclan by talking through
the bars.
Talltree - The tallest tree in the forest, where Gatherings are held.
The Odd Oak - A strange, old tree that seemingly has a face. Squirrels like to hide in its "mouth".
Highpath - A tall bridge stretching over Lakeclan's stream. It's very close to the Eastern Twolegplace, and Twoleg kits love throwing pebbles from its edges. This has drowned several Lakeclan cats, so Lakeclan exercises caution when they hunt ducks here. (There's quite a lot.)
Twolegpath - A long, straight path dividing the forest, in which Twolegs cross to the Eastern Twolegplace and back.
Western Twolegplace - A housing estate where many Twolegs and Kittypets live.
Eastern Twolegplace - A place where Twolegs from the Western Twolegplace gather. No Twolegs actually live here.
