I really wish I could've married Savannah, she's my favorite (aside from Alisa). I really like all the cats, though some more than others!

oh wow, you make some really good art! It'd be cool if you could draw my character, Tryn (they're my avatar. Light orange tabby with black eyes.) I imagine them with a few scars on their slightly fluffy pelt from all the battles they've been in while taking over the map.

I'm so curious about the create-a-colony update, I can hardly wait for more information

I had 4 kittens with Scout, named Autumn, Dusk, Sunset, and Mouse. I make sure to keep at least one of each of their favorite items near their nests, but I haven't got to the point where I can see who likes which rare items (except for topaz. I also haven't checked catnip yet.) None of them seem to like the same things, as far as I can tell. Autumn's the adventurous one, and the eldest of the four kits. She loves painted, azure, and emperor butterflies, topaz, marigold, goldenseal, rabbits, and black hares. She says stuff about adventuring and exploring, and is really upbeat. Dusk is the second born, and she's the artistic one. Out of all the things I've tried so far, she only loves 4 things: salmon, trout, bass, and Valerian. I plan on trying to give her a catfish (which I do have 2 of...) Sunset is third born. He's serious, careful, sneaky, and possibly a bit socially awkward. He loves scallops, snake lily, crows, and doves. The most recent thing he's said to me is "... The trees look healthy. That's good. More leaves means more cover." Mouse is the youngest. She's very sweet, shy, and quiet. Funnily enough, she loves the mouse and field mouse! I thought that was so funny! She also loves raspberries, blackberries, and licorice. She's not overly fond of winter blueberries, though, which is something I thought she'd enjoy. Here's all of my kittens (who are actually now fully grown!) Isn't Catnip liked by all cats? I'm sure it is, I just haven't given them catnip yet. I didn't want to give it to them until they were fully grown, and they only JUST grew up, so I haven't had the time.

I'm really wondering how custom colonies are going to work. I kind of can't wait for the game to be updated! Or to get more info on what's to come, that'd be good too.

I feel like I don't have enough to go on with how starting a colony will work to truly have an idea of what I'd do. However, I do like the idea of having the camp set up near the river somewhere, or down by the ocean, for easy access to fish.
I have to wonder if there'll be a map expansion or something, with multiple choices to choose your spot for your colony.

I like all of the colonies and they all have their own benefits. Delta from Mountain colony sells lavender, which is VERY useful. The cats of Mystic are probably my favorite, they're just so cool. Plus, I love the stump dens. Forest colony just feels... natural. I went with Forest first, but I plan on making a cat for each colony.
My 1st cat (in my avatar) is a Forest colony cat
I have a white-ish cat named Moonrise who's just started out in Mystic, and is probably going to romance Alisa
and I haven't made the Mountain cat, but they're likely going to be a calico of sorts.

My cat's name is Tryn (they're in my avatar).
They're obsessed with getting territory for their colony, the Forest colony, and has successfully taken over all available territory in the area of all 3 colonies, even while having 100% reputation with the other 2 colonies. They're incredibly charismatic and a great fighter.
Tryn has only lived in the Forest colony for nearly 3 years, yet has accomplished much. By taking the Forest colony by storm, Tryn has garnered a formidable reputation. They may be loved by many, but they are also FEARED by many. I mean, really, a nearly 4 year old cat has been at the forefront of almost all battles, and WON them all. The closest Tryn's been to death is by bats in the mines, and only Doc knows they go mining, and that's only because of the near death experience.
Due to all the battle experience Tryn has, they are covered with scars, but not as many as one would think. Tryn's mate, Scout, doesn't mind the scars one bit.
Everyone in the Forest colony loves Tryn, but for Lyrus. Tryn has no idea why Lyrus doesn't particularly like them, but suspects that Lyrus didn't like Tryn and Scout's relationship. Tryn and Scout got married and had kittens just before Tryn brought back the Forest Guardian. Finishing such a daunting task for Coco and the Forest Guardian brought about a desire in Tryn to become a leader of a colony one day.
Tryn loves treasure and rare items, and leans towards acquisitiveness.
Their favorite season is summer, because that's when the butterflies come around. Tryn also loves butterflies, and one strange one follows them wherever they go, during any and every season.

I tend to search for as much catnip as I can find, all over the map. I also grow it. 15 mews per plant is nothing to sneeze at!

I married far too quick and didn't realize I could marry cats from another colony. While I think Scout is great (I was between Scout and Missy) I probably would've went with Alisa first if I had known, I really love their eyes! Wouldn't it have been funny for Alisa to have married a Forest colony cat?
My true love is Savannah, and it makes my heart ache that I can't marry them. All the cats are pretty awesome, though.

I've heard they can be found at the weepingroot, and supposedly they're more likely to show up in summer... I ended up catching one at river central in autumn, though, the day after I bought one at the festival, so they're just really rare.
(I think it was river central! It could have been the river islet.)
