Orion patiently waited while Yuki decided. He gave a small nod when she finally tore each fish in half. He made a slight tilt of his head at her expression. "It's okay," he reassured her. "Thank you for catching them," the wolf added as he pulled his pieces of fish closer. His stomach released a small growl as he gazed down at the fish. He was always hungry in the early morning. He forced himself to wait for Yuki to have the first few bites. She was the one to catch them, after all.

Smallstep huffed as her muscles strained to put the rock into motion. It rolled a few short pawsteps before she stepped back. Her eyes widened slightly when she realized that the rock would not stop on its own. She lashed her tail out in annoyance. Figures, she thought as she raced to the other side of the rock. She shoved one shoulder forward in preparation for the rock. It slowly rolled closer to the small she-cat. Her paws fought against the ground as the rock gently rolled into her. With the last amount of strength she had, she heaved against the rock. This time, however, it remained where it was. Her muscles sighed with relief when she took a moment to sit down. At least that was one task done for the day. Flicking her ear, she heard Mudwhisker snap at her. "What does he want now?" she mumbled quietly. "Coming!" she shouted in reply as she rose to her paws. As she approached she heard him speaking in a hushed voice. For a moment she stood in silence. Her eyes searched him as if she were searching for a reply. Would she forgive him, or continue to give him the cold shoulder? Surely he was making an attempt to deceive her again, right? Well, it would be harder than that this time. She refused to fall for his 'let's make friends' act. "Yeah, it was," she replied flatly as her ears pulled back.

(Ooh that's a beautiful house!)
Orion perked his ears at the approaching pawsteps. He lifted his head from his paws just in time to see Yuki. He stared at her in silence for a moment. Yuki had always been honest with him. Well, as far as he knew. She had been honest in informing him that she had adopted him. Yet, thoughts that she was hiding something kept invading his mind. His eyes squinted slightly as he stared at her. His muscles tensed when she began approaching. He allowed himself to relax when he realized that she was simply coming to lay beside him. "Sure," he replied as he shifted his gaze to the two fish. "Which one do you want?" he asked, tilting his head slightly.

Orion pounced through a bush, creating a loud rustling sound. His paws ran as fast as he could manage in pursuit of a mouse. He had already caught two other mice. They were safely buried under a thick pile of grass and leaves. However, this mouse had managed to escape his grasp. Just as he had been about to pounce, it managed to squeeze through a small hole at the base of a tree. He swiped his paw against the ground with a small huff. "So close," he mumbled aloud. No matter. They had the rest of the day to hunt later. Two mice was better than nothing. He gave himself a small nod, as if having to confirm that he could stop hunting. The tom retrieved his two mice and padded towards the tree that he and Breeze agreed to meet at. Even from a short distance he could spot the outline of a cat. Assuming it was Breeze, he picked up his pace. Upon approaching the tree, he discovered that he was right.

Naomi shook her long fur out as she stood. Droplets of rain rolled off of her and splattered the ground nearby. It wasn't of much use, considering it was actively raining. Her gaze scanned her surroundings. She took a moment to watch Finley as her gaze shifted over him. He was currently talking with Suki. A small smile spread across her face as she watched. He always looked so happy, no matter what happened. This was something that she envied about him. Finding happiness was something that she could not seem to grasp. Shaking her head, she looked away from the two younger dogs. She spotted Thunder not far off. Socializing was not something that she was the best at. Perhaps she should still try. She wagged her tail a small bit in a sort of waving motion towards Thunder. The gesture was rather small. Yet, if Thunder wanted to talk, she would do so.
Finley offered a small shrug. "I hope so! I love the rain," he replied with a smile. Most of the other dogs had seemed to dislike the rain, he had noticed. He may even be one of the only dogs that enjoyed it. His tail thumped against the ground as he took a seat next to Suki. "If we can't hunt, what else do you suppose they'll have us do?" he questioned. From time to time they were given other tasks. Hunting, in Finley's opinion, was by far the best task to be given.

(So sorry! I have been quite busy lately.)
Smallstep couldn't help but cast a sideways glance towards Mudwhisker every so often. Typically he was quiet, yes, but this was a different type of quiet for him. He would at least crack a joke at her when watching her work in the past. Why is this something that even matters? she thought. A sour expression spread across her face as she silently scolded herself. Mudwhisker had made it obvious that he didn't care for her. Although she physically displayed resentment towards the tom, she couldn't shake the feeling of disappointment. Disappointment for what, exactly? she questioned. This was something that she could not find an answer for. "Just stop thinking about it," she mumbled rather quietly aloud. Her paws stopped straining against the ground as she stepped away from the rock. The rock rested about halfway across the clearing. It wouldn't be much further now.

Smallstep took a few seconds every now and then to rest. She didn't want to linger into a break for too long. Otherwise Timberfur would get mad. Yet, she didn't really care. She more so didn't take long breaks because she wanted to hurry. The faster she did all of her tasks, the faster she could return to her den. Being engulfed in silence in her den created the perfect plotting atmosphere. Nobody to create distractions. Her gaze drifted off to Timberfur for a moment. He was silently watching. Something every cat in this blasted clan seemed to be an expert at. Just then, Mudwhisker returned. She was unable to hear the words exchanged, but Timberfur nodded and began padding away. "Aw, come on, don't stick me back with him," she called over. A look of amusement spread across her face. However it was not a playful, harmless look. It was more a look of her being amused with herself. Timberfur glanced at Mudwhisker, then at the she-cat. He gave a shrug and left without another word. Mumbling under her breath, Smallstep returned to pushing the rock.

Smallstep placed her paw back on the dirt. She supposed there was no real 'best way' to move the rock. Rocks just simply weren't meant to be moved by cats, and certainly not by a single cat. Her ears flicked when pawsteps began approaching. Timberfur had padded closer to her, watching. She shot him a cold glance before refocusing her gaze on the rock. "Mudwhisker too high and mighty to be stuck with prisoner duty, huh?" she mused to the warrior. The tom simply gave her a cold stare in return. "Not chatty today, got it," she mumbled, mostly to herself. With a sigh, she began shoved a shoulder into the rock. Heaving with all her might, the rock slowly crept forward ever so slightly.

Naomi released a huff as something landed on top of her. She opened her eyes, straining to see as they adjusted to the small amount of morning light. Soon the familiar face of Finley appeared. The rather large puppy had his front paws spread across her neck. He was excitedly wagging his tail. "It's raining, Naomi!" she heard him squeal excitedly. "That's nothing new, Finley. You know this," she replied with a small, tired sigh. When she felt the slight weight of Finley lift off of her neck, she rolled onto her stomach. By the time she raised her head, Finley's face was right in hers. "Do you think I'll be able to hunt today? Oh, I've never hunted in the rain before!" he barked excitedly. "Perhaps, now hush," she replied with a somewhat stern look. It wasn't common for her to be too serious or harsh on Finley. "Others may still be sleeping. Be mindful of them and lower your voice," she added with a small nod. "Why don't you go see if Suki is awake yet?" The suggestion was quickly accepted by Finley.
Finley trotted rather excitedly away from Naomi. She had just suggested that he go and see Suki. Suki was a fellow trainee. He wasn't sure if she considered him a close friend. However, he certainly considered her one. His pace slowed as he began scanning the area. When his eyes landed on a familiar tree, he lowered his gaze to the bottom of the tree. There sat Suki. He began to wag his tail as he trotted over. What few small puddles of rain that began to form sent splatters into the air as he stomped through them. "Hiya Suki," he greeted, slowing his pace as he neared.

(So sorry! This must have gotten pushed down in my notifications.)
Stonesplash remained silent now. He watched as she struggled in pain. What had they done to her? Surely they hadn't intended on killing her? He thought on the matter for quite some time. Yet, he could not come up with a logical answer. If they had attempted to kill her surely they wouldn't have made a mistake. He was shaken out of thought when he heard a quiet sound of movement. Hawkflight was now sitting. He watched as she gave her chest a few licks. "Are you good now?" he asked as his eyes scanned her. As far as he could tell, there were no physical cuts or other wounds. Nothing serious, anyway.

(That sounds fine to me.)
Smallstep cast a glance back at Mudwhisker. He was silently watching her. She assumed that he was impatiently waiting for her to get to work. Her tail flicked in slight annoyance. What had even happened that night that made everything crumble? Surely he should understand her need to vent her frustrations eventually. The fact that he himself was in Duskclan wasn't an excuse for her to be silent about their ruthlessness. Besides, he should know all about that with how he treated her before. She flicked one of her ears as she heard tiny pawsteps approaching quickly. Goldkit and Flamekit came running past Mudwhisker. The she-cat lifted a paw up to prevent Goldkit from crashing into her as the small kits blindly ran around. They must have been invested in some sort of game. Her gaze followed them for a moment as they happily bounced around the camp. With a sigh, she turned and began padding over to the rock. Once she reached it, she placed one paw on it as she assessed how to best move it.

(You're fine! I may not reply too much tonight. I have a lecture and observation for astronomy tonight. x.x I'll be there around three hours. I believe I have another observation next Monday as well, so heads up for that day too. ) Smallstep stopped a few steps out of her head. She turned her head to peer at Mudwhisker. He was just standing there for a moment. She rolled her eyes and scanned the clearing. Her gaze stopped on Breezestar. The leader was sitting atop his den. Had he been watching her? She shook the thought away and cast a glance back at Mudwhisker. Right when she was about to make a remark about him being slow, he spoke. "How did I see that one coming?" she murmured as she looked at the boulder. Hopefully the leader wouldn't change his mind about it again. The she-cat said nothing more and began heading towards the boulder. As she walked, her thoughts traveled back to the first few days here. One of her very first tasks had been to move the boulder. Since then she was beginning to become, well, she wouldn't say friends, but perhaps better acquaintances with Mudwhisker. Yesterday that had all fallen apart for some reason. Their conversation had taken a different direction suddenly, and now they were here. Back to square one. Just like when she first arrived and had to move the boulder.
