Tendrilstalk had crossed about halfway through the clearing between her den and the Great Tree, passing by an empty den. Her senses were alert as always for the prey that scuttled about beneath tall grass and shrubbery, be it the land-dwelling mice and lizards or finches landing for seeds. Deciding to stop for a hunt, the hunter searched the vacant den for prey hoping for easy shelter but found nothing.
She could, however, taste a faint yet fresh cat scent in the air. LeafClan scent, nearby, probably Duststorm, the tortoiseshell concluded there to be no threat and continued to search the clearing for any other creatures.
Doveflower purred quietly when her leader talked about his past, it was somewhat funny that the calm leader was the opposite on his younger days but sometimes cats change, some for better other for worse, she was glad that her leader became better. ""And Leafclan is proud of having you as leader"" She gave him a quick sweet smile and continued to walk.
It is late morning, and the tide ishigh. Cats are hunting, patrolling, etc.
☁ Stormstar ☁ Tom | PalmClan | Leader | 100 moons At the Plains
As time went on, the tide rose. Before Stormstar knew it, the waves were almost splashing onto his paws. Deciding he had sat there long enough, the tom left his rock and started heading back from where he came. He passed right by his den with no hesitation, although the idea of settling into his cool, dark cave where the sun couldn't reach him sounded tempting. Stormstar kept walking until he was at the Plains, seeing nothing but sand around him, save for the trees and dens that could be seen in the distance. He crouched, sniffing for prey. The Jungle had always been a much better hunting spot for him, since his black fur didn't stand out so much, but he was already here. Plus, he wouldn't want to scare all the prey away in the better hunting spots. He would leave hunting there for the Hunters today. Stormstar wandered around for a bit, until he found a finch pecking at some seeds on the ground. Distracted, it didn't see him come up from behind, and Stormstar successfully caught it. He dug a hole and buried the bird to pick up on his way back. Before he returned, he was going to check on Petalheart. Stormstar knew Mudflower would look out for her, but he liked to visit his daughter and check on things for himself. She was his last living kin, after all- that is, until her kits were born.
❀ Petalheart ❀ She-cat | PalmClan | Queen | 40 moons Outside her den (den 8), talking to Mudflower
Petalheart stopped grooming when she noticed Mudflower approaching. "Good morning, Mudflower!" She purred. Mudflower was many moons younger than herself, so they had never spent time together growing up, but she had appreciated the she-cat's recent help. "Hang on a second, I'll see if there's anything I need," Petalheart said as she disappeared into her den. She looked around, mainly at her prey stash. She had a finch, a lizard, and a scrawny mouse. Not too much, but it was certainly enough. She went back outside to where Mudflower was. "I should be fine on prey for now, but thanks for checking on me. You really help, you know. I'll get someone to fetch you if I need anything else, okay?" Petalheart said happily.
«Oakstar» Tom | LeafClan | Leader | 50 moons Patrolling with Doveflower
Oakstar noticed a quiet purr coming from Doveflower, and he smiled, thinking he may have broken through her shell a tiny bit. "Really?" He mewed in response to her statement. "Well, I'm glad to hear that. I do my best, you know," he mewed, hoping he didn't sound braggy. He looked in the direction of the territory, and saw that they were near the lake. "Newleaf is always a good thing, with more plant growth, but it also worries me. Greenleaf will be here in a couple of moons. What will happen to our lake? We've always pulled through before, but I still worry. I'm hoping we wont have to resort to, er, more dishonorable methods of getting water," Oakstar said, meaning that he hoped he wouldn't be forced to raid PalmClan for their lake water. He recalled his Clan doing this in the past, under another leader. It hadn't been worth it- his Clanmates had been caught, returning with many injuries and one small bundle of soaked moss. But had his Clan had any choice then? Oakstar didn't know what he'd do if he was faced with that dilemma this year. He would just have to do what he thought was best for his Clan.
☙ Fallowfern ☙ She-cat | LeafClan | Medicine Cat | 30 moons Laying outside her den (Den 4)
Done organizing her herbs, Fallowfern exited her den and looked around for more herbs she might add to her stores. She was drawn to a sweet, fragrant scent, and she followed it until she stumbled on a pretty pink hibiscus. How pretty! Perhaps she'd try to grow some of these near her den. For now, she would just take a few leaves. Fallowfern delicately picked 3 or 4 leaves, deciding not to take too many so the flower could stay healthy. Hibiscus leaves weren't needed too often on the islands, but she collected them anyway. They were nice to have around, but there usually weren't infections that needed stopping, because most infections came from dirty battle wounds. The two Clans had disputes, sure, but it wasn't often that it came to a fight, and predators weren't that common either. The worst injuries most cats got were scrapes from falls and tiny cuts from thorns, sharp rocks, or sharp shells. Still, hibiscus leaves would help should a situation arise. Fallowfern made it back to her den, and cleared out two old leaves she had been saving for emergencies. Not having any more work to do, Fallowfern laid down just outside her den, relaxing in the morning sunshine.

Doveflower//Leafclan// Patrolling with Oakstar
Doveflower nodded, she knew that he was doing his best and she was glad. She continued to walk until she stopped to look at the lake, nodding silently again to her leader worries, she was also worried that they may have to do that to get a simple drink, but it also scared her to think that she may not be useful, sure she is agile but what if this is not enough? What if Leadclan fails because of her? "" I hope that everything will be okay when Greenleaf comes around"' She meowed with a worried tone.
Springspark could never stand being cooped up in a den for very long. He needed to be doing something. After taking a minute to fix up the sprawled-out leaves over the floor, he decided to go out to the sea stones and watch the waves. Listening to the hypnotizing swish, shwa of the waves, his mind wandered. His tail swished. The splashing of the waves bringing him to a different world, a world where he could speak up, a world with- no, he had friends - the cats he talked at, right? Picking up an interesting seashell, he walked to the jungle, preparing to catch some prey.
After a short while of sniffing, Tendrilstalk had located a finch nearby. Careful as always, she sank into the grass and stalked silently towards her prey. Not long after, she saw the round speckled bird giving the ground a few pecks and glancing away. The hunter quickly got close and pounced on the finch, with only a faint chirp signaling her success.
Tendrilstalk killed it with a bite and buried the bird to pick up later. I should get going towards the pond now.
Mudflower enjoyed her short walk over to Petalheart's den. She wished to just go on hunting, but she knew she had to check on Petalheart first. Petalheart must have heard her approaching because by the time she arrived at the queen's den, the expecting mother was already to tell her that she didn't need anything. "Are you sure?" she replied.
Duststorm had followed Tendrilstalk's scent from the cat's den almost to the pond. The she-cat probably came here for water and maybe to hunt he thought. Looking around, he couldn't see the she-cat anywhere. The tom decided to just wait for her. Maybe Tendrilstalk hadn't arrived yet but was close. If that was the case, they'd run into each other any minute now.
Dark clouds are slowly approaching. Looks like it will rain later today.
«Oakstar» Tom | LeafClan | Leader | 50 moons Finishing a patrol with Doveflower
"As do I," Oakstar agreed solemnly. They walked more, with the fluffy tom occasionally making a comment about the clouds, or the sea, or the trees. After some time passed, he glanced over to a distant clump of trees, recognizing it as a space a den was built. Vaguely he remembered that that den was Doveflower's. "Oh, that's your den over there, isn't it?" Oakstar asked, hoping he wasn't getting it wrong and making a fool out of himself. "We've patrolled pretty much the whole border, so our task is complete. You can go back to your den now, since you're probably free for the day." Oakstar didn't know what he'd do for the rest of the day, as he had no particular duties. The Clan was so much more lively when there were young cats to be trained. But LeafClan's youth had grown, and had so far seen no relationships start to develop. Surely there would be more youth in his Clan eventually? Oakstar decided to stop thinking about it, everything would be fine. Snapping back to the present, he turned to Doveflower. "Well, it was nice patrolling with you, Doveflower," he told the she-cat, looking into her bright green eyes.
❀ Petalheart ❀ She-cat | PalmClan | Queen | 40 moons Outside her den (den 8)
Petalheart nodded. "Yeah, I don't think I'll need any prey for now, and the lake isn't far if I need any water. I can still walk that much, I think," she said with an amused purr. "But really, I'll be good. How about you go fetch something for yourself, if you haven't eaten?" Petalheart suggested, knowing that not many cats in PalmClan had an abundance of prey. She was probably one of the cats with a bigger stash, being a queen and all. She often offered to share, but most cats seemed unsure whether they should accept or not, seeing as PalmClan was often low on prey and queens were fed first. But if any cat asked, she gladly would share. It was always nice to have some company, after all. Petalheart knew that her father wouldn't let her stay lonely, though; Stormstar visited daily, and she appreciated his company.

Doveflower//Leafclan//Talking with Oakstar
When they are waking Doveflower would just nod and smile, not really wanting to talk but you can see that she was paying attention. Her ears perked when she noticed that her den was close, after all as far as she knew there are not many cats that put feathers on the walls. Her tail twitched happily but she kinda wanted to spend more time with her leader, no, he was probably really busy, oh no maybe he thinks that she is clingy and if she spends time with him he may think that she is not useful and maybe she would get trowed on the sea and....... From the outside you could see that she was on her world, looking at the ground with her green eyes for a moment before returning into reality ""It was nice patrolling with you too"" the grey and white she-cat told the darker tom.
Thistlefur picked up Springspark's scent trail and followed it. He had tried to go to the scout's den first, but the warrior was already gone. Hopefully he hadn't gone too far. After walking quickly, he caught up to the younger tom. "Hey," the deputy meowed in greeting.
Featherfoot looked at the sky, and thought, I should hurry to the Fishing Rocks for me and Featherfoot Jr. She started to the Fishing Rocks and soon got there. Featherfoot perched on a rock and watched.
Pebblefur took off to the Jungle, and at once smelled an iguana. He tracked the scent and found it. Pebblefur dropped into a crouch and pounced, and it laid limp in his jaws.
«Oakstar» Tom | LeafClan | Leader | 50 moons Sitting outside his Den (Den 9)
"Well then, I'll see you later," Oakstar meowed. "Feel free to drop by sometime- with no apprentices, I don't have nearly as much to do as I did moons before. I'm not very busy these days," he told Doveflower, wondering if she would actually drop by. "Goodbye, for now. It was nice to get to know you better," he said before turning away, walking back to where his den was. What a nice she-cat, he thought as he walked. Once he was back at his den, he climbed the tall tree and sat in the branches, his fur swaying in the wind. Oakstar wondered what he should do now. Hunt, maybe? Perhaps.
The tortoiseshell tabby had just passed by the Great Tree. There, she found faint scent trails of Oakstar, Doveflower, and Featherfoot. Tendrilstalk tracked them for a bit and noted that Oakstar and Doveflower had travelled together towards the Crossing Stones while Featherfoot went off to a different direction. They must be out on patrol, won’t be meeting them soon, I guess. She continued the walk to the pond.
After trekking through the forest for a while, the hunter caught another familiar scent, Hmm, Duststorm again. Perhaps he’s had the same idea as me about going to the pond. Soon, as she had predicted, Tendrilstalk saw the brown tom sitting near the way to the body of water and greeted him with a blink. “Hello, Duststorm. How’s hunting?” 🌿 ~ Spottedleaf ~ 🌿
Doveflower flickered her tail in goodbye as she sat down, looking at him until he disappeared from her sight. When this happened she sighed, she liked Oakstar, well maybe that way, he was nice and not how to say..strict?
Yawning she stood up and decided to hunt, she dont stocked prey or something and maybe if she caught more prey she could share with someone or maybe store for herself. Standing up she sniffed the air to look for prey and located what she guessed that it was a finch, licking her lips she she crouched low to the ground, feeling the grass touching her fur, she took small slow steps, getting closer and closer until she was close to him. She felt the finch and her green eyes meet for a second before the finch tried to fly away, she sprinted and quickly jumped at her prey and bit it neck, feeling the life going away.
