This is based off of an event that happened on one of my save files.
---
Frost gazed around proudly. Another battle had been won for the Prairie Colony, and this ground of the Hallowed Garden would soon be theirs. As she was flexing her claws, another member of her colony's battle patrol approached her.
"It's pretty nice, all the territory we've been gaining lately," the tom from the patrol said, stopping beside Frost.
The albino leader stopped flexing her claws and looked towards the cat standing next to her. She immediately recognized him as Casper, one of those who had joined the colony during the previous winter. "I agree," Frost stated. Casper had been right - though Frost had founded the Prairie Colony only two seasons before, they had already gained a fair amount of territory.
All of a sudden, Frost saw something bright blue out of the corner of her eye. "What is that?" she asked, turning away from Casper. At first, she assumed it to be a bluejay. However, the it didn't produce the delicious aroma that the rare birds usually gave off.
The albino cat quickly got into a hunter's crouch and attempted to chase the blue thing. Now that she could see it more clearly, she noticed that it was much smaller than any bluejay that she had ever seen. At that moment, Frost realized that this was not a bluejay at all. In fact, it was a ladybug! She had bought a blue ladybug at Coco's festival shop back when she was helping to bring back the forest guardian, though she didn't believe that they existed out in the wild.
How silly of me. Who ever mistakes ladybugs for birds? she thought, coming out of the hunter's crouch. She was about to walk back to Casper, though she suddenly felt compelled to follow the blue bug.
Frost was now moving towards the ladybug. Though she had started at a casual walk, she soon picked up her pace. By now, she was almost running.
Frost came to a halt it was within reach. Without thinking, she unsheathed her claws and reached up to attack the bug. In a few moments, it was laying dead on the ground.
The leader sat down and stared at the ladybug she had just killed. For the first few moments, she was filled with disbelief. However, this was replaced with an odd feeling of calmness. In just a few short moments, the mysterious creature had become meaningful to Frost.
Frost quickly picked up the ladybug and placed it in her inventory. She made sure to tuck it neatly between two pieces of lavender. When she got back to camp, she planned to put it right outside of her den. Maybe it will bring good luck to my colony and I, she thought, a smile forming on her face.
