CATS & EMBRYOS
In the land of Felina, wildcats reign. So-called “tamers” catch their embryos and raise kittens for use in battles, foraging and general knowledge gathering. In this regard, tamers think of their felines as companions, not servants. They are given a comfortable life away from the harsh Felinan wilds.
Would you like to become a tamer?
Raise unique and legendary felines and fill the Encycmewpedia with other players! Interact with cute embryos and kittens and raise them into fine cats. Use them in battle, gather rare items, explore Felina and more! The possibilities, and what you can do with your felines, are endless!
Cats & Embryos is always evolving, and since it’s code-free, you can just tell us what to do and we’ll type it out for you. Tug on Meg’s tail? Check. Eat the spider on the wall? Yeah, sure. Do a whole bucketload of crazy stuff? Easily done!
With a number of embryos and kitties only limited to the imagination, there’s never a better time to get stuck in!
THE PREMISE
The tamer’s main goal is to fill the Encycmewpedia with as many cats as possible, and garner lots of Feline Points (FP) for the group, to raise the game’s Feline Level (FL). Raising the FL will unlock new features, like new areas and feline rarities. Also, every 100 FLs produces a Legendary Embryo, which the entire community can raise together!
Every 20 FP acquired will raise the FL by one, so keep gathering as much as you can!
FP can be acquired in the following ways:
NEWBIE GUIDE
First off, welcome to the team! We’re so happy to have you here. Don’t worry, you can join us anytime! Just leave a comment stating that you’d like to get your first feline, and we’ll show you the current list of areas. Choose one, and after a brief introduction, you’ll be given three embryos to choose from. Again, pick one, and that embryo is yours! You’ll be told what it is and how much FP you racked up for everyone once you’ve chosen it.
From that point on, it’s all up to you! Although, we recommend to first go visit your new embryo just by posting in chat. Once you’re with them, you can observe them to check its stats and feline type. Once you’ve done that, you should visit the Grocery Store to buy some food and drink, and then the Toy Store to get your feline something to play with. Items in Felina don’t cost anything, and Felina has no economy, so don’t be shy! You can also forage in the wilderness for items.
Keep interacting with your embryo! There’s a chance that it will hatch every time you perform an action on it, and said chance grows every time you perform one on it. The same goes for kittens, so just keep going until you’ve got a fully grown feline!
Felines do get tired, and may begin refusing to perform actions when they need a break. Failed actions do not contribute to your feline’s growth chance each action.
