Appearance: Shortpaw has short white fur with deep black legs, ears, tail, and a mask, that slowly transition to a dark brown. Tints of cocoa are scattered across his pelt. The eyes of this apprentice are a beautiful, shimmering sky blue.
Personality: It takes a while to get to know Shortpaw, but on the surface, it's easy to see his cooperative and friendly attitude. He's also generous, and outspoken, like his sister. His cooperation, though, this still what he's most well-liked for. There are many times when clanmates count on this and his innovative nature in times of need.
Skills: Proficient climber and tracker.
Flaws: Clumsy when hunting on the ground and fearful of swimming.
Wants Mate?: Maybe
Family: Redpelt (father), Smallfeather (mother), and Sunpaw (sister)
Backstory: At a young age Shortpaw's parents passed away, leaving him sorrowful but determined to make his parents' spirits proud. Shortpaw sees nothing wrong with his sister, Sunpaw, despite her swift change in personality. He is always there for Sunpaw whenever she needs anything. Shortpaw continues to strive to be a good cat in Smallfeather and Redpelt's memory.

Macawstar:

“I have had this thought in the back of my mind for a while now, and after thinking it over, I have decided to expand our territory behind the falling-water pool. However, we need a patrol to scout the area out for danger. I will be leading the patrol.” Macawstar explained, her tail lashing slowly “I wil not be allowing apprentices to go on this patrol, and I would like to know not only who wishes to come, but also if you all agree with this idea.” Macawstar finnished and waited for the clan to respond.

Being the first to speak, Spiderfall said, "I'd be happy to go on patrol, but since you're leading it Macawstar, I can stay here and watch the camp."

Duskfur sat up straight and said “I would like to come”. Her paws had been tugging her in the direction of the falling-water pool for a while now and she wanted to find out why. She she waited for Macawstar’s reply.

Macawstar:

“Ok, that’s Snakefang, and Duskfur in case any of us need medical attention. anyone else?” Macawstar asked her ears pricked up happily

Iguana:

Iguana was about Half way through his hanging nest when a brightly coloured iguana fell on his head through the ceiling. “PARAKEET WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT SLEEPING ON THE ROOF?” Then an idea struck him. If he made it so that he could walk on the roof, then the iguanas DEFINITELY could hang around on there too. So shoving the unfinished best into a hole in a tree, he started weaving thick vines over the hole, and then began weaving a second layer into it. And another, then going on top and doing another, then weaving a cover made of lotuses that stretched all the way over the entire den and nearly touched the floor that was stored in the tree trunk he had put the nest in that would keep rain from leaking and also to keep our searing heat. He put it on and padded through one of the unsewn gaps used for the enteranceways and rolled up one of the two large flaps and secured it by tieing it with a vine.

“Hey, Tiki, how about a walk to the falling water pool?”

Duskfur couldn’t wait to leave. “When will we be going?” She asked Macawstar. Her mysterious paw-tugging was even stronger now, and she tried not to give in. For some reason, she started to think about iguanas. She felt like she needed to go, right now, but she didn’t want her leader to become suspicious, so she just waited. Her paws were impatiently shuffling in the grass.

Slothkit couldn’t resist his urge anymore. He left the nursery and sat at the back of the group, listening intently.

“We will be leaving in a few moments Duskfur.” Macawstar answered the medicine cat calmly. If nobody else wishes to join, continue your duties, Clan Dismised.” She finnished before jumping down to behind the stump and waited for the patrol

Iguana:

Iguana and tiki had made it a little ways past the half way mark. Leaning a sneaky paw over the river beside him, iguana suddenly splashed his paw into the water, glaring as a slim silver figure sped away downstream. “ ‘sigh’, mabe I’ll catch the next one, we can have a quick snack” Iguana said to the lumbering reptile beside him.

Slothkit made a running jump to a leafy red plant in the back. The truth was that he really was going to go. He thought he could find some hints about where exactly he came from. He broke off a leaf, put it to his face, and listened for any signs that the patrol was leaving.

“Snakefang! Duskfur! let’s get moving.” Macawstar called to the two cats as she padded towards the enterance. She had found a ramp of sorts against the cliff the could use to get to the top of the cliffs.
