Two new ideas I had:
One, the ability to get sick. This could add a challenge as well as more reasons to use herbs around the land. Perhaps even more of a danger during winter where there really aren't any to be seen and growth is low. I'm thinking this could ether lower your health each day, a BIT MORE than sleeping would heal so it's not so easy to shake off... But if neglected long enough might actually "Kill" your cat and give you the game screen to decide what to do next? I don't think it would be too hard if you're always hunting, battling, already collecting herbs, etc. because then it means you could sell stuff for mews and just buy some herbs to help you out in the hard winter times. c: Cattails is a great game to just chill in, but really, what cat doesn't feel the urge to leap at every prey they see or do SOMETHING when roaming around the land? x'D I move even WITHOUT a goal like my subconscious is playing for me lol. Maybe you could even catch a cold/illness/sickness (Whatever you want to call it) from other cats? I could see it more likely to get or even run into in other cats after it rains or in the colder weather/seasons. Maybe they could have a particle effect to warn you "STAY AWAY FROM ME" so the player isn't completely overwhelmed learning their cat got sick? They'd get a minor "Visual Warning" if they pay attention to detail.
This was inspired by a random cat named "Howl" who I ran into who said, "Have you heard of the sickness going around? I hope it stays away from me."
Two, I think I already suggested this once? But the ability to give everyone, EVEN RANDOM ENCOUNTERED CATS items. Sometimes if I have extra stuff I would wish I could help out the other random cats around... Can't tell you how many times I ran into a line like Thief right now telling me, "I could go for some rabbit right now."
...I have three normal rabbits and two black rabbits in my inventory right now, I wouldn't mind just handing him one if the game would let me... x'D (Sorry if I did suggest this before the beta, I have a bit of a foggy memory sometimes. ;3; )
